Georgina Artigas is an internationally known lettering artist who wields both the broad-edge and the flexible pen with a grace and fluidity born of natural talent and more than three-quarters of a century of a love for letters.
Her passion for the pen is obvious in every piece reproduced in this book, which represents only a fraction of her life's work. From the earliest examples of the certificates and diplomas rendered in the style of the day in Cuba to the original designs executed throughout a career spanning more than forty years in America, Georgina has demonstrated a versatility and range that few calligraphic artists achieve.
Most importantly, she has spent her life doing what she loves, feeling all the while "like I'm dancing" with the pen.
